Peer Review ProcessPeer Review Process
The conference Scientific Committee, composed of academic professors from Libyan and international universities, adopts strict academic standards to ensure research quality:
- Review Procedures: Initial Screening (Desk Review): Papers are examined immediately upon submission to ensure their alignment with the conference scope and to conduct a plagiarism check, which must not exceed 20%.
- Subject-Based Assignment: Papers are assigned to reviewers who are specifically specialized in the topic of the paper (engineering project management in the oil and gas, construction, and services sectors).
- Technical Evaluation: Papers are evaluated based on the originality of the idea, the strength of the scientific methodology, and the recency of the references.
- Number of Reviewers: Each research paper is reviewed independently by at least two (2) reviewers. In the event of conflicting review decisions (accept/reject), the paper is referred to a third reviewer to make the final decision.
- Scientific Committee: The committee includes a distinguished group of international and local academics and experts in the field of supply chains and logistics services, ensuring an objective evaluation consistent with international standards.
